Boards & Commissions

The Mayor and City Council appoint over 120 community volunteers to serve on citizen advisory boards, commissions, and authorities. These committees provide valuable insight to the City Council on topics ranging from senior center activities to housing rehabilitation. Each committee works alongside a staff member who serves as a direct point of contact with city administration. The City Clerk's Office maintains meeting and attendance records.

Applications are accepted continuously, with the City Council holding special meeting interviews in January, May, and October to fill vacancies. Applicants are encouraged to review each board/commission/authority's information page to find what most suits their interest.
