Following the passage of Proposal 2 in November 2022, Michigan offers in-person early voting for state and federal elections, which was implemented statewide in 2024. Early voting in Kalamazoo County is administered by the Kalamazoo County Clerk's Office and allows voters to insert their ballot into a tabulator prior to Election Day, though results are not reported until polls close on Election Day.
Early voting is available only for state and federal elections, not local or special elections. Voters may also choose to vote by absentee ballot or at their local precinct on Election Day. Additional information is available on the State of Michigan early voting page.
