The Portage Zhang Senior Center offers a variety of one-day and multi-day trips planned to please both those looking for new destinations and those who prefer the comfort of familiarity. From theater trips to cruises, the Senior Center travel program is popular with participants.
Our day trips are the perfect way to enjoy exciting destinations without the hassle of planning the details yourself. From cultural attractions and historic sites to live theatre, sporting events, and seasonal adventures, there’s always something new to experience. Comfortable transportation is provided by commercial motorcoaches or our own mini-buses, so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. Best of all, these trips are open to both members and non-members, making them a great opportunity to bring a friend along for the fun.
Looking for something a little longer? Our extended domestic trips span multiple days and offer the chance to explore destinations near and far—from the charm of Mackinac Island to the beauty of Cape Cod, the excitement of New York City, and even scenic train excursions. These tours include lodging, guided experiences, and most meals, so you can focus on making memories instead of managing logistics. With a mix of in-house planning and trusted vendor partnerships, we create experiences that are convenient, engaging, and designed with older adults in mind.

Reservations
For your convenience, the travel office is open Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. Reservations should be made in person at the PZSC during those hours whenever possible. Reservations may also be made via U.S mail, but we suggest that you call (269) 324-9239 first to verify availability. Payment must accompany the reservation. The address is:
