Ramona Park has something for everyone from the fisherman to the beach bum! Located off Sprinkle Road with access to Long Lake, Ramona Park is truly a family destination site. Ramona Park has a fully-staffed and lifeguarded beach and is home to a creative, accessible playground with a colorful soft surface. Beach Area Rental & Admission Rates
Ramona Beach admission fee is waived for all City of Portage residents for 2023!

• $10 per vehicle daily for non-resident
• $45 per vehicle annual non-resident
• $50 per bus daily for groups of 13 or more
• Free admission during non-beach season and after hours.

Kayak, Canoe & Paddleboard Rentals at Ramona Park

Open daily on beach operating dates 11 AM - 6 PM
All watercraft: $12 for first hour, $5 each additional 30 minutes, $36 flat rate for 4 - 6 hours.
Life Jacket included.

Pets:

Pets are allowed except where posted. Posted areas include: playground and Ramona Park beach. Pets must be restrained on a 6-foot or retractable leash, inoculated for rabies and never left unattended. Persons in charge of or in control of pets on park property shall be responsible for clean up and removal of excrement deposited by such pet.

Alcohol:

Alcohol is prohibited in all parking areas.

CANCELLATION POLICY:  
Rental fees will be returned minus a $10 administration fee, if cancelled before 1 month prior to your event any later cancellations will result in 100% forfeiture of the rental fee. In the event of inclement weather such as rain, thunderstorms, tornado warning, (warm temperatures do not count as inclement weather), every effort will be made to reschedule your reservation if desired (excludes all indoor facilities); otherwise, the cancellation policy will determine the amount of refund.  

**If for any reason you or the parks department must cancel your reservation a credit will either be applied to your account for later use or a refund will be issued by check within 6 weeks. No refunds are put back on your card.
