Portage Road Reconstruction Project - Nighttime Paving Operations with East Milham Avenue Intersection Closure Postponed until August 14
On Wednesday, August 14, 2024, starting at 6 PM, the final paving of the east side of Portage Road will take place from Romence Road Parkway to Fairfield Road and is scheduled to be completed the morning of Thursday, August 15, 2024. The eastern leg of the East Milham Avenue intersection will be intermittently closed at Portage Road during the paving of the intersection. The northbound and southbound lanes will be maintained.
Upon completion of the final paving of the east side of Portage Road, the northbound and southbound lanes will be shifted to the east side of Portage Road to prepare the west side of Portage Road for final paving. All work is dependent on weather and materials. Motorists are advised to seek an alternate route to avoid delays.
