PZSC ClosuresThe PZSC will be closed Saturday, August 30–Monday, September 1 for Labor Day. We will reopen Tuesday, September 2 at 7 AM. On Wednesday, September 3, the Center will be closed 7 AM–12 PM for staff training and will reopen at noon for regular activities. |

This fun and rewarding role includes facilitating weekly rehearsals and coordinating occasional community performances. Hearing Screening- Appointments still available!3rd Wednesday, August 20 9 AM – 12PM FREE Call to schedule your 15-minute appointment at (269) 329-4555 Offered in partnership with Hearing Specialists of Kalamazoo Dr. Jim Cole, a licensed audiologist from the Hearing Specialists of Kalamazoo, will be at the PZSC every third Wednesday of the month providing hearing screenings, examination of the ear canal and ear drum, hearing aid cleaning, checks & minor repairs, and hearing/ tinnitus/ hearing aid education; all at no charge.

Introduction to BeekeepingFriday, September 5 9:30 – 11:30 AM $15 Members / $20 Non-Members Curious about beekeeping but not sure if it's right for you? Join instructor Bob Candido for an honest and informative session exploring the real commitments involved in keeping bees. From financial investment and time requirements to the physical and emotional aspects of hive management, this class will give you a clear understanding of what it takes to be a successful beekeeper. This off-site class takes place at the KVCC Food Innovation Center. Minibus transportation will be provided. Class participants must meet in the PZSC cafe by 9:30 AM. Podiatry Care- NEW!September 18, October 23, November 20 9 AM – 5 PM Call to register for your 15-minute appointment *Please make sure your paperwork is completed before the day/time of your appointment. Paperwork can be found at the front desk or emailed digitally. Dr. Jennifer Griffin, DPM will provide podiatric treatment for day-to-day problems including wound care, toenail clipping/ filing, fungal nail infections, ingrown toenails, corns, calluses, verruca's, athlete's foot, flat feet, bunions, heel pain, ageing feet, blisters, gout, sports injuries. Dr. Griffin bills insurance or you can pay her $50 directly via cash, check or card. She does not accept BCBS Advantage (Blue Care Network), Medicare + PPO or Humana Medicare. Vaccine Clinics- In partnership with Advanced Health PharmacyFriday, September 19, 11 AM – 1 PM OR Wednesday, October 22, 2 – 4 PM Offered in partnership with Advanced Health Pharmacy Call to schedule your appointment at (269) 329-4555 Open to the Public Advanced Health Pharmacy will be at the PZSC administering vaccines twice this fall! Upon registration, you will be asked for your full name, and which vaccine you wish to receive. AHP accepts most insurances, including Medicare Part B, but they recommend bringing your Red, White and Blue card if you have one. Senior dose (65+) and regular flu doses will be provided. Each year, the CDC brings out a new COVID-19 vaccine. Just like the flu, the latest formulation of the vaccine was based on the strain prevalent at the time. Both Flu & COVID are recommended to once every year. You must be 65 years or more, or immunocompromised to be eligible for the Covid Booster. In addition, it has to have been 6 months since your last Covid Booster. *Please bring your driver’s license or ID and insurance card to your appointment.
