The Portage Department of Public Safety, the City of Portage Youth Advisory Committee, and the Breakfast Optimist Club of Kalamazoo have teamed up to host their annual Respect for Law event at Ramona Park, 8600 South Sprinkle Road on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, from 5 to 7 PM.
The event features several local law enforcement displays including public safety equipment, police vehicles, fire apparatus, K-9 Unit, EMS, and more. There will be demonstrations, interactive and educational exhibits, as well as games and activities. Refreshments will be available for purchase from Top Shelf Catering. The Respect for Law event is FREE and open to all ages. No registration is required.
