The upcoming 2018 general election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Also known as a “midterm election,” this voting day is the half-way point in the four-year tenure of the current presidential term. All 435 seats in the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as 35 of the 100 seats in the U.S. Senate will be called in November. Additionally, 39 state governorships, including the Governor of Michigan, will be on the ballot.
Polls will be open from 7 AM to 8 PM on Election Day. To learn where you vote, visit michigan.gov/vote. If you are unsure if you will be in town, are over the age of 60 or are physically unable to attend the poll, consider voting absentee!
