Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, November 6, 2022. That means it’s time to set your clocks back an hour at 2 AM.
This weekend is the perfect time to change the batteries in your smoke alarms. The Portage Department of Public Safety – Fire Division and the National Fire Protection Association recommend that you test your smoke alarm batteries once a month and change the batteries at least once a year. Smoke alarms should be replaced when the unit reaches ten years of age.
