As part of the Lovers Lane reconstruction project from East Milham Avenue to East Kilgore Road, a traffic shift on Lovers Lane between I-94 and East Kilgore Road will be implemented on Friday, June 17 at 10 AM. One lane will be open in each direction. At I-94, the northbound lane will be shifted to the west side of the roadway. The southbound lane will remain in the outside curb lane. Motorists are advised to be alert for construction activities and may wish to seek an alternate route to avoid delays.
The lane closure of Lovers Lane north of the East Kilgore Road intersection will be removed in the afternoon of Friday, June 17 – one week ahead of schedule. The Portage Road closure as part of MDOT’s I-94 interchange project is also anticipated to be removed on Friday, June 17 in the afternoon.
