Brown Avenue Road Closure
(South Westnedge Avenue to Currier Drive)
Beginning Monday, October 18, 2021 at 9 AM, Currier Drive will be closed south of Brown Avenue to facilitate the installation of a water main as part of the construction of the Portage Senior Center. Access to Dairy Queen and the Portage Community Outreach Center will still be available from East Centre Avenue. Use Brown Avenue via South Westnedge Avenue to access Currier Drive north of Brown Avenue. The Metro bus stop on Brown Avenue is temporarily relocated to East Centre Avenue at Mustang Drive. Currier Drive is scheduled to reopen no later than Friday, October 22, 2021. All construction activity is dependent on favorable weather.
