On July 29, 2021, a water main break occurred at 6839 South Westnedge Avenue. It became necessary to depressurize a section of water main to complete the repair. As a result, the affected customers as described below are advised to boil their tap water for a minimum of one minute prior to use for drinking, brushing teeth or cooking.

This is a precautionary measure. All means of flushing and collecting bacteriological samples from the water main will be followed before lifting the advisory. A news release will follow once the advisory is over.
