UPDATE: CONCERT LOCATION CHANGE 

Due to the threat of inclement weather, tonight's (July 15) Departure: A Journey Tribute Band concert will be held in the Portage Central High School Auditorium (8135 South Westnedge Avenue).
Lazy Man BBQ will NO longer be selling concessions at the event due to the location change. 
Seating will begin at 5 PM.  The concert will still begin at 7 PM.  Admission is FREE to the concert thanks to our sponsor Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.  No registration or ticket is required for entry.

Portage Parks & Recreation welcomes you to the second drive-in concert of the summer.  Join Departure: A Journey Tribute Band at Ramona Park (8600 South Sprinkle Road) on Thursday, July 15 at 7 PM.  Parking will open at 5 PM with spaces available on a first come, first served basis.  Parking is limited.  Lazy Man BBQ will serve-up concessions for purchase throughout the evening.

In their 13th year together, Departure is the most respected Journey tribute band in the nation.  The band replicates the look, sound and feel of the original 80’s rock super group - Journey.  Departure plays all the hit songs that everyone knows and loves and pride themselves on giving their audience an incredible high-energy, qualitative stage show from start to finish.  View a performance video of Departure at https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7u7e8k.

Enjoy this concert from your car or bring a chair or blanket.   Don’t forget to leave a little room for busting a move.  Admission is FREE thanks to our Summer Concert Series Sponsor, the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo.  No ticket or registration is required for admission into this event.
