Construction continues on South Westnedge Avenue from Trade Centre Way to Kilgore Road. Beginning at 7 PM on Thursday, June 25, all traffic on South Westnedge Avenue will be shifted to the southbound lanes west of the boulevard section and final paving operations will begin at Trade Centre Way in the northbound lanes. Once the northbound lanes are completely paved, traffic will be shifted again to the northbound lanes east of the boulevard section and final paving operations will begin at Kilgore Road in the southbound lanes. Paving work will extend into the morning hours until completed.
Traffic delays can be expected in this area and through traffic is asked to seek alternate routes. Drivers should slow down upon approaching the milled surface within the project area and watch for individuals engaged in this work. There will be short periods of limited access to driveways during the paving operations.
