The Portage Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) will host its first-ever Have a Heart Valentine’s Day Celebration & Donation Drive on Saturday, February 14, from 11 AM to 1 PM at Portage Parks & Recreation, 320 Library Lane.
Family-friendly activities will include sugar cookie decorating, card making, a scavenger hunt, and a carnation station.
Donations of garbage bags, plastic cups, paper plates, laundry and dishwasher detergent, paper towels, and toilet paper can be dropped off at the event or at Portage City Hall (7900 South Westnedge Avenue) the week of February 9. The donation drive benefits the Hospital Hospitality House of Southwest Michigan.
