West Centre Avenue Lane Closures: Creekside Drive to Shaver Road
Starting at 8:30 AM on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, the inside eastbound and center turn lanes on West Centre Avenue from Creekside Drive to Shaver Road will be closed. The work, completed by Kaltz Excavating, will locate utilities as part of Consumers Energy’s gas main replacement project on West Centre Avenue, scheduled to begin later this month.
Traffic delays are expected in this area, and motorists are urged to seek an alternate route. Traffic control will be removed by 5 PM daily, with all work scheduled to be completed by January 9, 2026, weather and materials permitting.
