There’s something strange in the neighborhood, so strap on your Nuclear Accelerator and grab your Proton Pack - ghosts are loose in Ramona Park at this year’s Monster Mash! Join us for this FREE and fun event on Saturday, October 18, from 3 to 7 PM at Ramona Park, 8600 South Sprinkle Road. No registration is required, and costumes are strongly encouraged.
Monster Mash is an annual family-friendly event that features trick-or-treating by community vendors, spooky hayrides, merry-not-scary magic shows, pumpkin carving demos, games, crafts, balloon twisters, inflatable decorations, and more. Enjoy monstrous munchies for purchase from Skinny Kenny’s BBQ, Ibison’s, Hall-N-Weenies, and The Little Scoop ice cream. Cash, debit, and credit cards are accepted.
Parking is available at Ramona Park, with additional parking at South Portage Little League, 4801 East Centre Avenue. Shuttles will run to and from the event and South Portage Little League. Parking is not permitted along any nearby neighborhood or city streets.
Monster Mash concludes with a drive-in-style movie showing of Ghostbusters (1984) at dusk (approximately 7 PM). Parking for the movie begins at 5:30 PM on a first-come, first-served basis, with the first 300 people receiving a commemorative Monster Mash keychain.
