Portage Parks & Recreation is moving to a new, more user-friendly registration and reservation system! Beginning September 2, 2025, residents will use CivicRec, a cloud-based platform from CivicPlus, to browse and register for programs, reserve park facilities, and make payments, all from one convenient site.
With CivicRec, users will enjoy easy access to programs, classes, sports, and youth activities, as well as online facility reservations for pavilions, indoor buildings, and more. Additionally, they will have a mobile-friendly platform for convenient registration and payment from any device.
If users have participated in Parks & Recreation programs or events before, registration will look a little different. All participants will need to create a new account in the system. Starting September 2, to create a new account, users should:
- Visit mypark.portagemi.gov.
- Click the “Register Now” button.
- Select “Login With Email”.
- Fill in the required fields and click “Create Account.”
- Check your email and verify your email address.
- Log back in and complete your account details.
- Start Exploring!
