Forest Drive Traffic Signal Construction Begins
Starting Monday, August 11, construction is scheduled to begin on the Forest Drive and Portage Road traffic signal and site improvements project. The project along the east side of Portage Road from Forest Drive to McClish Court includes storm drainage and parking lot improvements, the installation of a traffic signal at Forest Drive, sidewalk ramp improvements to meet Americans with Disabilities Act requirements, and resurfacing and restoration of disturbed areas.
Work will begin on McClish Court near the intersection of Portage Road, which will require a lane closure along the north side of McClish Court. The project is scheduled to be completed by November 15, weather and materials permitting.
