Lane Closures on Portage Road South of Romence Road And on Romence Road East of Portage Road
Starting at 9 AM on Monday, April 21, 2025, the inside lanes of Portage Road will be closed in each direction south of Romence Road for the extension of the median used for access across two driveways during Pfizer’s recent expansion project. The eastbound right-turn lane on Romence Road, approximately 600 feet east of Portage Road, will also be closed for the removal of a temporary construction driveway. Construction is scheduled to be complete, and all lanes will be open to traffic by Monday, April 28, 2025, weather permitting. The work is expected to cause delays, and motorists are advised to seek an alternate route.
