On Friday, August 23, 2024, starting at 6 PM, the final paving of the west side of Portage Road will take place from Fairfield Road to Romence Road Parkway. During paving operations, East Milham Avenue will be closed at Portage Road to all traffic. A detour will be in place. Northbound and southbound lanes of Portage Road will be maintained through the East Milham Avenue intersection.
To travel westbound on East Milham Avenue from Portage Road, the posted detour for both northbound and southbound traffic is west on Romence Road Parkway, north on Lovers Lane to East Milham Avenue. The posted detour for eastbound traffic on East Milham Avenue is south on Lovers Lane, east on Romence Road Parkway to Portage Road.
Motorists are advised to follow signed detour routes or seek an alternate route to avoid delays. All work is weather-dependent.
