Good news, Portage! The US Small Business Association (SBA) has extended it's stay in Portage. The SBA established a temporary Disaster Loan Outreach Center to offer one-on-one assistance to homeowners, renters, and businesses affected by the May 7, 2024, tornado. The Kalamazoo County Disaster Loan Outreach Center will continue to operate from Portage City Hall, 7900 South Westnedge Avenue in Portage until Friday, August 9 at 4 PM.
Monday - Friday: 9 AM - 6 PM
Walk-in appointments to speak with an SBA administrator and apply for a disaster loan are accepted; however, appointments can also be scheduled by visiting https://appointment.sba.gov/.
