Shaver Road Milling and Resurfacing
Northbound Lane Closure from Captiva Island to Vanderbilt Avenue with Detour
Beginning at 8 AM, Wednesday, July 17, 2024, traffic control and a detour on Shaver Road will be set up for milling and resurfacing operations. Motorists are advised to follow the posted detour route for northbound traffic which is east on West Osterhout Avenue, north on Portage Road, and west on East Centre Avenue to Shaver Road.
A southbound lane will be maintained from Vanderbilt Avenue to Captiva Island with a temporary traffic signal placed at Vanderbilt Avenue and Shaver Road to facilitate traffic flow. Motorists accessing Shaver Road from private driveways within the construction zone must exit traveling southbound on Shaver Road.
