The Portage Farmers Market is now accepting vendor applications for its 2024 season. The market takes place every Sunday from May 5 to October 13 from 9 AM to 1 PM at Portage City Hall, 7900 South Westnedge Avenue. Approximately 30,000 customers shop local and support small businesses at the market every season.
The goal of the Portage Farmers Market is to support and strengthen opportunities for farmers, local specialty food producers, and artisan entrepreneurs, and contribute to the overall health of the community. Local businesses that align with this mission could be great candidates for the market this year.
Vendors interested in selling at the market are encouraged to read the 2024 Portage Farmers Market Rules & Guidelines and to fill out an application. They are also encouraged to attend the annual Vendor Meeting on February 29 at 6:30 PM at Portage Parks & Recreation, 320 Library Lane. Applications are available at farmersmarket.portagemi.gov or can be picked up in person at Portage Parks & Recreation.
