Portage Parks & Recreation will host Monster Mash at Ramona Park (8600 South Sprinkle Road) on Saturday, October 21, from 3 to 7 PM. The popular event includes trick-or-treating with more than 20 community vendors, family-friendly inflatables, a spooky forest hayride, merry-not-scary magic shows, on-site pumpkin carving demonstrations, and more. Monster Mash will conclude with the drive-in style movie showing of Hotel Transylvania, at dusk (approximately 7 PM). Parking for the movie begins at 6 PM and is first come, first served.
Give back to the community and bring your unused, new, or gently used coats, hats, gloves, scarves, or other winter apparel to the Portage Parks & Recreation tent during Monster Mash. Donations will benefit the Portage Community Center.
Monster Mash is FREE and open to the public thanks to our sponsors Red Robin, Advia Credit Union, Lake Michigan Credit Union, and R.W. LaPine Inc. No registration is required, and dressing up is strongly encouraged. Parking is available on-site at Ramona Park. Auxiliary parking, with shuttle buses, will be available at South Portage Little League (4801 East Centre Avenue). Expect a short walk from the bus stop to the event. No parking is allowed along any nearby city streets.
