Portage Parks & Recreation will host Friday at the Flats on Friday, August 25 at the Celery Flats Pavilion (7335 Garden Lane) from 4:30 to 8:30 PM. Enjoy a variety of tasty dinner and dessert selections as well as live musical performances from local performers – rain or shine.
Food vendors for this event include Top Shelf Catering, Specialty Cheesecake and Dessert Company, Skinny Kenny’s BBQ, Teresa’s Kitchen, Blue Plate Food Truck, and Lazy Man BBQ. Dogpatch Lullaby will kick off music for the event at 4:30 PM and False Atlas will close out the evening. This event is made possible by BSD Dance Studio.
Movies in the Park returns to Celery Flats Historical Area following Friday at the Flats. The featured movie, Encanto, begins around sunset (approximately 8:45 PM). Bring a blanket or chair for lawn seating. Food is available before the movie at Friday at the Flats or bring your own snacks. The movie will be canceled if inclement weather occurs. This event is made possible by BSD Dance Studio.
