On Tuesday, August 22, 2023, and Wednesday, August 23, 2023, starting at 7 PM each night, the intersection of Portage Road and Romence Road Parkway will be closed to all traffic for milling and paving operations. The intersection will be open by 6 AM each morning following the night closure.
The posted detour for northbound traffic on Portage Road is west on East Centre Avenue, north on Lovers Lane, and east on Stryker Way. The posted detour for southbound traffic on Portage Road is west on Stryker Way, south on Lovers Lane, and east on East Centre Avenue.
The posted detour for eastbound traffic on Romence Road Parkway is south on Lovers Lane, east on East Centre Avenue, and north on Sprinkle Road. The posted detour for westbound traffic on Romence Road Parkway is south on Sprinkle Road, west on East Centre Avenue, and north on Lovers Lane.
Motorists are advised to follow signed detour routes or seek an alternate route to avoid delays. All work is weather dependent.
