Portage Parks & Recreation to host Friday at the Flats on Friday, July 28 at the Celery Flats Pavilion (7335 Garden Lane) from 4:30 - 8:30 PM. Enjoy a variety of tasty dinner and dessert selections as well as live musical performances from local performers – rain or shine.
Food vendors for this event include Motor Mouth, Specialty Cheesecake and Dessert Company, Scott's Pig Roast, Teresa’s Kitchen, Blue Plate, and Ibisons Concessions. Musical artists “Dana Scott” will kick off the event at 4:30 PM and “The Iconix Band” will close out the evening. This event is made possible by BSD Dance Studio.
Movies in the Park returns to Celery Flats Historical Area following Friday at the Flats. The featured movie, Back to the Future begins around sunset (approximately 9:15 PM). Bring a blanket or chair for lawn seating. Food is available before the movie at Friday at the Flats or bring your own snacks. The movie will be canceled if inclement weather occurs.
