Portage Parks & Recreation to host Friday at the Flats on Friday, June 23 at the Celery Flats Pavilion (7335 Garden Lane) from 4:30 - 8:30 PM. Enjoy a variety of tasty dinner and dessert selections as well as live musical performances from local performers – rain or shine.
Food vendors for this event include Skinny Kenny BBQ, Specialty Cheesecake and Dessert Company, Scott's Pig Roast, Top Shelf Catering, Blue Plate, and Ibisons Concessions. Musical artists “Two Of A Kind” will kick off the event at 4:30 PM and “Joshua Tree” will close out the evening. This event is made possible by Dr. Grabowski Orthodontics.
Movies in the Park returns to Celery Flats Historical Area following Friday at the Flats. The featured movie, Guardians of the Galaxy begins around sunset (approximately 9:25 PM). Bring a blanket or chair for lawn seating. Food is available before the movie at Friday at the Flats or bring your own snacks. This movie is made possible by Lake Michigan Credit Union. The movie will be canceled if inclement weather occurs.
