We are thrilled to welcome Peter Dame, the new City of Portage Chief Development Officer. Mr. Dame, a Portage native, returns to the city after filling the position of City Manager at Grosse Pointe, Michigan for 17 years. He will oversee the departments of Community Development and Transportation & Utilities. In this role, Mr. Dame will cultivate and shepherd economic development within Portage while ensuring the stability and high quality of infrastructure throughout the city.
The public is invited to meet Mr. Dame and welcome him to Portage this Friday, April 28 at 4 PM at Portage City Hall (7900 South Westnedge Avenue). Light refreshments will be served. The event is FREE and No RSVP is required.
