On December 14, 2022, in the evening hours, a water main break occurred on Greenbriar Drive. It became necessary to depressurize a section of water main to complete the repair on the damaged water main. Affected customers are advised to boil their tap water for a minimum of one minute prior to use for drinking, brushing teeth or cooking. The residents at the affected properties, including 5203 Oakland Drive, 1700 Greenbriar Drive, and 1826 to 2206 Greenbriar Drive, have been personally advised of the Boil Water Advisory.
This is a precautionary measure and all means of flushing and collecting bacteriological samples from the water main before the advisory is lifted will be followed. A news release will follow once the advisory is over.
