Major street construction projects in the City of Portage are nearing completion. The City of Portage thanks Portage residents and motorists for their patience during this busy construction season. The following schedules are weather dependent and subject to change.
South Westnedge Avenue - Romence Road to Mall Drive
The project is awaiting final paving on the northbound lanes.
West Centre Avenue - Oakland Drive to 12th Street
Final paving of the inside lanes is scheduled for Monday, September 10. Final pavement markings will be installed on Tuesday, September 11 and all lanes will be open to traffic on Thursday, September 13.
