The 2022 Southwest Michigan American Public Works Association (APWA) awards banquet was hosted at the Charles & Lynn Zhang Portage Community Senior Center on Tuesday, December 6. The City of Portage received Project of the Year Awards for the Charles & Lynn Zhang Portage Community Senior Center project in the Structures Greater than $1 Million category and the South Westnedge Avenue Improvements project in the Transportation Less than $1 Million category. The City of Portage thanks our partners for both projects and we extend our appreciation to the APWA Southwest Michigan branch for the honors.
