Portage Parks & Recreation Welcomes HairMania this Thursday
The Summer Concert Series continues as Portage Parks & Recreation welcomes HairMania to the Overlander Bandshell (7810 Shaver Road) on Thursday, July 14 at 7 PM.
The high-energy production stage show of HairMania confirms that 80s hard rock still lives on in the hearts and iPods of the TRUE Rockers in the Midwest. With talent and raw power, they deliver the hits the way they should be heard, LOUD, PROUD, and very very Hairy! Bring a chair or blanket and leave a little room for busting a move. Motor Mouth Food Truck will serve dinner starting at 5 PM.
Parking is available at Portage City Hall, Zhang Portage Community Senior Center, First Reformed Church, Comerica Bank, and Portage Community Center starting at 5 PM. A drop-off loop will be available at Central Park (7810 Shaver Road) for those with mobility issues. There is limited ADA parking onsite.
Admission is FREE to the Summer Concert Series thanks to the series sponsor, the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo. No ticket or registration is required. Check the Facebook event @CityofPortageMI for updates.
