Portage Parks & Recreation will host Friday at the Flats and Movies in the Park on Friday, June 24. Friday at the Flats will run from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Celery Flats Pavilion (7335 Garden Lane) – rain or shine! Enjoy an array of dinner and dessert options as well as live performances from local musicians. Food vendors include Specialty Cheesecake and Dessert Company, Scott's Pig Roast, Blue Plate, and Curry in a Hurry. Dana Scott will perform live music beginning at 4:45 p.m. and Flylite Gemini will close out the evening.
Movies in the Park return to Celery Flats Historical Area following Friday at the Flats. The featured movie, Jumanji: The Next Level begins at dark (around 9 PM). Bring a blanket or chair for lawn seating. The movie will be canceled if inclement weather occurs.
