Portage Parks & Recreation will host Monster Mash at Ramona Park (8600 South Sprinkle Road) on Saturday, October 30, from 3 to 7 PM. The popular event includes trick-or-treating, hay wagon rides through a spooky trail, take home crafts, on-site magic tricks, airbrush tattoos and games. Monster Mash will be followed by the drive-in style movie, Hocus Pocus, at dusk (approximately 7 PM). Parking for the movie begins at 6 PM and is first come, first served.
Give back to the community and bring your unused, new, or gently-used coats, hats, gloves, scarves or other winter apparel to the Portage Parks & Recreation tent during Monster Mash. Donations will benefit the Portage Community Center and Family & Children Services.
Monster Mash is free and open to the public thanks to our sponsors Lake Michigan Credit Union, Honor Credit Union and the Michigan State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. No registration is required and dressing-up is strongly encouraged. Parking will be on site at Ramona Park. No parking is allowed along any nearby city streets.
