Help Shape the Future of Portage
The Portage Department of Community Development is getting ready to begin the annual process to update the Capital Improvement Program (CIP). The CIP is a ten-year plan for infrastructure improvements, including public streets, sidewalks, bike lanes, multi-use trails, municipal water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage facilities, parks, public facilities, technology, public safety equipment and vehicles.
Public participation from Portage residents, business owners, and interested stakeholders is encouraged. To garner public input and citizen engagement, an online survey is available during September 2021 for interested persons to submit ideas for capital improvement projects and/or provide feedback on projects already in the planning stages.
