Friday at the Flats returns to the Celery Flats Pavilion (7335 Garden Lane) on Friday, August 6 from 4 to 8 PM. Portage Parks & Recreation sponsors Friday at the Flats on the first Friday of every month, May through September.
Food vendors participating in the August Friday at the Flats include Blue Plate Food Truck, Curry in a Hurry, Motor Mouth, Skinny Kenny’s BBQ and Specialty Cheesecake and Dessert Company. Live music from local duos Chris & Jamie Ross and the McKinney Brown Band starts at 4:15 PM.
Friday at the Flats is open to the public with free admission. Food vendors accept cash, credit and debit. Seating is limited, but lawn space is plentiful, so blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
