Portage Parks & Recreation welcomes everyone back to Friday at the Flats on Friday on July 2 at the Celery Flats Pavilion (7335 Garden Lane) from 4 – 8 PM. Visit Friday at the Flats on the first Friday of every month, May through September, for an array of dinner and dessert selections with live musical performances from local musicians.
On Friday, July 2, enjoy food from Blue Plate Food Truck, Cairo’s Kitchen, PJW Creole Cuisine, Specialty Cheesecake and Dessert Company and more! Live music will be performed by Ellis & M.E. and The Iconix Band! Ellis & M.E. is a trio whose groove comes from a creative blend of wood & strings, innovative songwriting, tight vocal harmonies and covers that speak to our lives and times. The Iconix Band is devoted to the iconic melodies, instrumentation, and rhythms of the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s and today.
Friday at the Flats is open to the public and admission is FREE. Food vendors accept cash and credit/debit cards. Seating is limited, but lawn space is plentiful, so blankets and lawn chairs are welcome.
