East Milham Avenue Nighttime Road Closure - South Westnedge Avenue to Newport Road
A nighttime road closure on East Milham Avenue from South Westnedge Avenue to Newport Road will begin at 9 PM on Monday, May 24, and will continue on Tuesday, May 25 and Wednesday, May 26. All nighttime work is anticipated to be completed by 6 AM the following morning. Night closures are necessary for the construction of utility crossings as part of the East Milham Avenue Reconstruction project.
The City of Portage is committed to keeping the traffic flowing during the construction period. There will be periods of lane restrictions but access to driveways will be maintained except for brief periods during milling and paving operations. Traffic delays can be expected in this area. It is anticipated that the entire construction project will be completed by August 27, 2021. All construction schedules are dependent on favorable weather.
