The COVID-19 test results for three lifeguards at Ramona Park Beach who exhibited symptoms are negative for the virus. Ramona Park Beach has reopened. Beach hours are 10 AM to 7 PM daily. Kayak, canoe and paddleboard rentals run from 10 AM to 6 PM daily and concessions are available for purchase.
All hard surfaces in Ramona Park are sanitized daily. At Ramona Park Beach, rental boats, paddles and life jackets are sanitized before and after every rental. The entrance booth and concession stand, as well as the restrooms and changing rooms, are sanitized frequently throughout the day. Beginning on Thursday, July 29, Ramona Park Beach will be temporarily closed. Three members of the beach staff are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 and have been tested for the virus. Other beach staff who have had contact with the three employees are currently self-quarantining. Out of an abundance of caution, beach operations will be temporarily closed until the test results are known. Ramona Park Beach facilities will be thoroughly sanitized prior to re-opening.
