Beginning at 8:30 PM on Monday August 3, 2020 all traffic will be shifted to the outside lanes on South Westnedge Avenue from Shaver Road to Romence Road. Milling and resurfacing of the inside lanes will begin at 7 AM on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, weather permitting. The City of Portage is committed to keeping the traffic flowing during the construction. Access to driveways will be maintained except for brief periods during milling and repaving operations. Traffic delays can be expected in this area and drivers are urged to seek an alternate route. It is anticipated that construction on this project will be completed in August 2020 (weather and materials permitting).
