Drop Off Day! August 1, 2020
The Portage Compost Facility will be open on Saturday, August 1 from 8 AM to 12 PM. Residents may drop off brush and bagged leaves. Leaves must be bagged in paper yard waste bags (no plastic) and must be separate from loose brush. The compost facility is located at 10905 Oakland Drive, just south of West Osterhout Avenue. Proof of Portage residency (driver’s license) is required. Staff from the Department of Public Works will be present to direct patrons to the proper location for brush and bagged leaves.
