West Centre Avenue and Shaver Road Lane Closures - Consumers Energy Utility Pavement Repairs
On Saturday, September 6, beginning at 7 AM, the eastbound through lanes and westbound curb lane on West Centre Avenue, at the Shaver Road intersection, will be closed. Eastbound traffic will be merged into one lane and routed around the closure using the center left turn lane. One lane will be open in each direction through the West Centre Avenue and Shaver Road intersection. The southbound curb lane of Shaver Road will also be closed through the intersection.
This work is for Consumers Energy to replace settled pavement patches from a previous utility repair at the intersection of Centre Avenue and Shaver Road. Traffic delays are expected in this area, and motorists are urged to seek an alternate route. Work is scheduled to be completed and the roads fully open to traffic the same day, weather and materials permitting.
