South Westnedge Avenue Reconstruction Project: Paving – Bacon Avenue to South Shore Drive
On Saturday, July 19, at 9 AM, the first phase of paving on South Westnedge Avenue from Bacon Avenue to South Shore Drive will begin. This closure/traffic pattern will remain until all paving in this section of the construction zone is completed.
The posted detour for road reconstruction work on South Westnedge Avenue is Melody Avenue, Shaver Road, Oakland Drive, and Osterhout Avenue. South Westnedge Avenue from Bacon Avenue to South Shore Drive is only open to northbound local traffic during construction. Motorists are advised to follow signed detour routes or seek an alternate route to avoid delays.
