South Westnedge Avenue Reconstruction Project - Southbound Detour for Local Traffic
On Monday, July 14, a detour will begin for southbound traffic on South Westnedge Avenue from Melody Avenue to Bacon Avenue as part of the South Westnedge Avenue Reconstruction Project. The posted detour is Melody Avenue, Shaver Road, Oakland Drive, Osterhout Avenue, and Bacon Avenue. South Westnedge Avenue from Melody Avenue to Osterhout Avenue is only open to northbound local traffic during construction. The detour is scheduled to end in approximately two weeks, weather and materials permitting. Motorists are advised to follow signed detour routes or seek an alternate route to avoid delays.
