[ARCHIVED] Portage Pocket Pay BOGO!

The City of Portage is encouraging residents to support local businesses affected by construction with a limited-time Buy One, Get 50% in Bonus Value Portage Pocket Pay eGift card promotion, now through October 31, 2025.

As road improvements continue throughout the city, businesses experience reduced foot traffic due to construction. This BOGO promotion is designed to offset that impact by driving customers to shop locally.

“We know that construction can be tough on small businesses,” said City Manager Pat McGinnis. “This program is a way for the city to support our local ‘mom and pop’ business community during the busiest time of year for road improvements.”

Promotion Details:

  • Customers who purchase a Portage Pocket Pay eGift card will receive a bonus card worth 50% of the original purchase.
  • The promotion is limited to one purchase per person, up to $200, with a maximum $100 bonus card.
  • Bonus cards expire one year from the date of issue.
  • eGift cards can be used at more than 45 participating Portage businesses.

The BOGO offer is funded through the city’s economic development funds to provide direct support to businesses impacted by construction.
