Friday at the Flats Returns with the Portage Arts & Crafts Market
Warmer days are upon us, and it’s that time again! The first Friday at the Flats, hosted by Portage Parks & Recreation, takes place on Friday, May 23, from 5 to 8 PM at the Celery Flats Pavilion, 7335 Garden Lane. Join us rain or shine for this fun event featuring LIVE local music, food and beverage vendors, and more!
LIVE local musicians will include the Kennedy Affair with blues music, and Jack Dastoli with classic rock. Enjoy a variety of foods, drinks, and desserts from Kona Ice, Specialty Cheesecake, Scott’s Pig Roast, Skinny Kenny’s BBQ, Teresa’s Kitchen, and Catering by Roxies. There is plenty of lawn seating, so be sure to bring chairs or blankets.
As a bonus, the season opener kicks off with the Portage Arts and Crafts Market across the street at the Celery Flats Historical Area from 5 to 8 PM. See over 20 vendors, including local artists and crafters, who have an assortment of items ranging from jewelry, woodcraft, paintings, stained glass, pottery, and more.
Admission to Friday at the Flats and the Portage Arts & Craft Market is FREE and open to the public. Food trucks and vendors will accept a variety of payment methods, including cash, debit cards, and credit cards. Come prepared to enjoy the food, fun, and music while exploring the craft market for that perfect gift for graduation, Father's Day, others, or yourself.
