Portage Parks & Recreation hosts its annual Monster Mash on Saturday, October 19, from 3 to 7 PM at Ramona Park, 8600 South Sprinkle Road. This popular event includes trick-or-treating with community vendors, family-friendly inflatable decorations, games, a spooky forest hayride, merry-not-scary magic shows, on-site pumpkin carving demos, crafts, balloon twisters, and more.
Bring your best dance moves to groove to the beat of DJ JC. Skinny Kenny’s and Ibison’s will sell concessions to fulfill your Monster Cravings. Monster Mash concludes with a drive-in movie, showing Scooby Doo at dusk (approximately 7 PM). Parking for the movie begins at 5:30 PM and is first come, first served.
Monster Mash is FREE and open to the public, thanks to our sponsor, Lake Michigan Credit Union. No registration is required, and dressing up is strongly encouraged. Parking will be on-site at Ramona Park, and auxiliary parking will be available at South Portage Little League (4801 East Centre Avenue), with the Monster Mash buses running to and from the event. No parking is allowed along any nearby city streets.
