South Westnedge Avenue Lane Closures - Portage Crossing Drive Intersection
Beginning Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 9:30 PM, the northbound curb lane of South Westnedge Avenue will be closed at the Portage Crossing Drive intersection and Portage Crossing Drive will be closed to traffic nightly for the city’s storm sewer connection from South Westnedge Avenue to a city stormwater retention facility located to the east. Traffic control devices will be removed each morning by 6 AM and South Westnedge Avenue and Portage Crossing Drive will be reopened to traffic.
Motorists are advised to use caution when traveling northbound on South Westnedge Avenue and accessing businesses and restaurants located on Portage Crossing Drive during construction hours. The construction of the storm sewer connection is scheduled to be completed by Friday, September 27, 2024, weather and materials permitting.
